Steps to Test Genesys Cloud AD Sync Provisioning in Entra ID

  1. Open the Azure AD Enterprise Application

    • Navigate to Entra ID (formerly Azure AD) > Enterprise Applications > Select your Genesys Cloud for Azure AD Sync application.

  2. Access the Provisioning Settings

    • On the left-hand panel, under Manage, click on Provisioning.

  3. Confirm Admin Credentials

    • In the Admin Credentials section:
      • Ensrue the the Tenant URL is set to the SCIM API endpoint for Genesys Cloud (https://api.mypurecloud.com.au/api/v2/scim/v2).
      • Ensure the Secret Token is present.
  4. Test the Connection

    • After confirming the credentials are present, click on the Test Connection button to verify that the synchronization setup is correct and the connection between Azure AD and Genesys Cloud is functional.
    • If the connection is successful, you will see a success message as shown below: AD sync test connection
    • If the connection fails, the secret token has likely expired. Log a case with cxlogiq support to generate a new secret token.
  5. Configure Notification Settings

    • To receive notifications if a failure occurs during the synchronization process, ensure the Send an email notification when a failure occurs option is checked.
    • Specify the Notification Email (e.g., test.dummy@cxlogiq.com).
